How much ground chicken can you make from 1 chicken breast. If I need to make about 20 chicken patties how many chicken breast s do you think I need?

Are you adding anything to it? Are they for dinner, like hamburgers, or to add to soup ?

1 chicken breast (two sides with fold down the middle) usually weighs 1 lb.
1 chicken breast usually feeds 2 people. (1/2 lb chicken per person.)

so does that mean, 1 chicken breast makes about 4 patties? does that make sense? I f I mince 5 chicken breasts do you think it will be enough to make 20 patties?
I know this might sound weird, but recipes usually say how many pounds of ground chicken you need, I'm just trying to fugure out how many breasts per pound

You can make 4 nice sized burgers from 1 lb. of chopped meat.
Patties are usually smaller than burgers.
I understand that you want to make 20 patties. But how many people are you trying to serve with those 20 patties?

You need 4.5 lbs. of ground chicken. If you want to have a drop extra just in case, you can make 5 lbs.
