What color appliances should I get? My kitchen is brown floor & brown countertop. I love biscuit but black is so much more practical. Also black would end up being a little cheaper.

I vote black. I got light color appliances and I totally regret it. I clean it five times a day with no kids around. It just always gets those black marks.

I agree. I had white and ss at different points, this time my dh put his foot down and said only black he's sick of cleaning up fingerprints, dirt etc. every 5 minutes. I have not regreted it.

I love shades of brown in a kitchen! It makes things so warm and inviting and that's what I did mine in.

Bisque to me looks very old fashioned.

I got SS appliances w/ my kitchen. Ironically, the black colored range-top gets far more fingerprints than the stainless parts (which includes the handle). I have a Fridgidaire and with the rebate I got it was not more expensive than non-SS.

I was just going to say that. I have a white hot point stove top and black door. The oven door ALWAYS has fingerprints and the white part just gets dusty. I'd never buy black if my only concern was the fingerprints.

I disagree, I've had both black and white and they both show everything. I don't like the bisque color, but get whatever you want, if that's what your worried about.
