This one was yummy!

Awesome Apple-Strawberry Crisp

7 Granny Smith apples, peeled and diced
½ bag (8 oz) Bodek strawberries, thawed and sliced
½ cup sugar
2 teaspoons lemon juice
½ teaspoon cinnamon

Crumb Topping:

2½ cup potato starch
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 cup oil
4 oz. ground walnuts

In a 10" Pyrex baking dish, layer diced apples and sliced strawberries. Sprinkle with sugar, lemon juice and cinnamon, and toss gently to coat.

In a separate bowl, combine topping ingredients by hand until it resembles coarse crumbs. Crumble on top of apple/strawberry mixture and bake at 350' for 1 hour.

loved it! I cut and saved it. sunshine's recipe is basically it.

the original calls for 3/4 c. sugar in the crumble mix and 1 vanilla sugar, optional.

the directions are to mix apples sugar, lemon juice and cinnamon. put mix on the bottom of a 9x13 pan or 2 9"round pans. layer strawberries on top. mix crumble mix with a fork, sprinkle on top, and bake at 350 for an hour to one and a half hours.
