Gift for Nurse at chemo suite

My husband is finishing a round of chemo, he's had a variety of nurses so no specific nurse was his. I've brought small food gifts for the station along the way, is it necessary for us to bring something on the last appt? Is it expected? do most people do that? The dr. and his private nurse we will still be seeing a bunch more times but the chemo nurses I hope we wont be seeing ever again.

Any ideas?

I think it would be nice to leave a small parting gift as a thank you.

I think flowers and/or chocolates is always a nice idea.

A batch of cookies or brownies and a thank you card would probably be a lovely perk for them!

nurses love food. when I worked in oncology, lots of patients/families brought us food gift baskets or homemade treats. whatever you bring, the gesture will be sincerely appreciated. you could always get them a cookie bouquet- like cookies by design or something. not sure if they are still kosher though.
