I would like to buy a good novel for pesach(jewish author only). I like a good drama suspense. Anyone?

Lone Star and Escape to Reality are two excellent suspense novels that immediately come to mind. For a different sort of suspense, try Green Fences. Chag Kasher V'Sameach!

I happen to love Riva Pomerantz and just this week finished her BREAKING FREE book which I really thought was excellent. (It's the sequal to Breaking Point, however no need to read the first book in order to enjoy book #2.)

My Name is Asher Lev by Chaim Potok.

Not a frum book but there weren't any smutty things in it. I very much enjoyed it.

I love Tova Mirvis's books. she has two, The Ladies Auxiliary and The Outside World. very fresh and candid books, and I love her writing style.

I'm not sure it's the type of book that the OP is looking for, though.
