We spell my son's name like this - Shragi. Nothing else looked right to us.

Definitely Shragi.
When I see it spelled Shraggie, in my mind it rhymes with "shaggy."

Yeah, when I see the 2 Gs, it reminds me of shaggy!

While I can see the double G making it sound like "shaggy," if you only use one G it may look like a soft G (as in George) or a long A (as in Dave). Just things to keep in mind when making your decision.
