Being a funeral director is actually not so depressing. Someone has to do it, so why not my patient, understanding husband to be there for ppl. in their time of need? Plus, its Chesed Shel Emes. I look up to my husband for doing what he does.

elkayed, 100%...my hubby does a little backup work for some local funeral homes, to be a shomer or to do taharos, and it's such a huge mitzvah..truly chesed shel emes. it takes a special person to be involved in this field.
