My DH thinks I have the biggest collection of shoes in the world. And its true - I do have a thing for shoes. But not like crazy or anything. But he's not doing too shabby either with his collection! There always seems to be his shoes everywhere around the house!

I can't count.... 20?
His mother needs matching shoes & hat for each outfit... (did I mention she never wears the hats anyway? useful indeed!)

Tell me about it! I'm always tripping over them.
He's got like 4 pairs regular shoes, pair of outdoor slippers, pair of sneakers and let's not forget his most important pair - his baseball cleats (sp)which by the end of the season look like they've been through hell and back.

One nice pair for shabbos, one pair from payless for when it's raining or snowing on shabbos and we have to walk far, a pair of sneakers, and a pair of slippers. he only has 4 pairs, but he buys a new pair of sneakers every 4 months because he wears them out so much.

Why if a man owns more then 5 pairs fo shoe, does it make him a shoe horse?
My dh has the regular: Shabbos Shoes, weekday shoes, bathing slippers, reg. (leather) slippers, pair of boots, pair of sneakers and a pair of sandals.

In my case, it's me who leaves shoes everywhere. Every once in a while, dh gives me a speech on how he "doesn't like to trip over all my shoes, and is it really necessary to leave my shoes right in middle of the bedroom?!"
