I love the name Asher Lev.
Is it too ridiculous to name my son that because of the book? Or would it be ok?

I also thought of the book right away and suspected why you were posting before I opened it. But it is a beautiful name and if you love it I wouldn't let that stop you.

It's an invitation to tease or annoy. I know a woman named Annie - she could just scream every time someone was introduced and attempted to sing Tomorrow.
Unless you don't call him by both names.

I wouldn't do that to an innocent child. Especially not a frum one. May as well name his sister Marjorie Morningstar.
