my 2.9 year old son is lately waking up in middle of the night. he cries, asks for a drink and usually goes right back to sleep. any way to prevent/ stop him from waking up?

A)try to give him more water during the day
B)leave him a sippy with water in a place he can take himself and not wake you up.
