On the street, waiting for the bus. . .airports. . .the mall. . .you name it, mincha has been davened there by my DH.
Subway has been the wierdest place for me (haven't been so consistent with davening mincha like my DH  )

At one of my jobs, the only private place I could find was the 4th floor of the stairwell in the parking garage. (Only the 1st 2 floors were used). I davened there every day in the winter for almost 3 years.
Now that I think about it, I wonder if it was so safe.

my fathers friend was once on the motorway and decided 2 pull over and find somewhere 2 daven...he saw a public telephone box and, wanting 2 look inconspicuous,went in and pretended to b talking on the phone while he davened...someone was waiting outside when he came out and he saw the newcomer go in, pick up the phone and look at him as tho he was crazy....it was only then that he noticed the phone line had been cut...

my father took me to the ER when I was younger and he had to daven arvit and he went to the public phones and davened there in the waiting room:)
there was also the circus
my husband davened at a phone in the airport, at the bottom of the ben yehuda midrechov in yerushaliyim.
baruch HaShem that HE is everywhere and can hear our tefilot no matterwhere you are davening to HIM
