Ok, intending to relocate only for a few days! Anyone do this trip? What advice can you give from your experience?

What else is fun for kids in the area?

I grew up in what was at the time the closest kehila!

In the mean time, a mikve opened in Pontault (gorgeous, never seen something like that). A kosher supermarket and eatery opened and closed unfortunately also there.

Shuls available in many places around, Bussy, Noisy, Pontault... You may hear of a kosher restaurant or two, they are not (they just serve some vegetarian stuff). For a daily minyan you have to go closer to paris (Vincennes? Champigny? or Créteil).

You can see the two huge malls, Bay 2 and Val d'Europe (they have regular stuff and luxury with great prices). There is a Ben&Jerry in VE.

Carrefour in Collégien and Auchan in VE have a great kosher aisle for OOT.

For kids, there are the two Disneyland parks, and Disney Village (free). One Starbucks there, one also in VE.

How many days are you staying? where are you staying?

At a Disney hotel, hopefully. What do the kosher symbols look like? What kosher snacks are at the Disney parks? Are they cholov yisroel?

What is fun for kids besides Disney? Is the Eiffel Tower at all fun? What days is the Winter Circus open?

If they have American stuff it will look like American Hechsher. If French, no hechsher (you need the kosher list from the rabbinate, you can find it online on the Consistoire site).

The kosher snack closed very soon after the opening. You'll have to go by the list. The list is stam kosher (not CY, not glatt for the rabbinate hechsher).

The hotels in Bussy are only two stations of RER away and much cheaper.

The Tower Eiffel is nice to see but it's just a tower Wink
