Just as it's spelled" ahVEEgdor" if you're ashkenazic and ahVEEgDOR if you're sephardic.
I was astonished to learn this is a genyoowine Hebrew name. It sounded so Yiddish/German to me.

I pronounce it Avigdor like vig as in dig. Not like louche who does veeg as in deeg

Yes, it may not be very common, but it goes way back. Avigdor was another name for Moshe Rabeinu.

My son's middle name is Ah-Vihg-Dor not Ah-Veeg-Dor. We call him Avi or Viggy for short.
