How much salt would you use in a medium load?
How much vinegar would you use?
Which one works better for preventing fading?
Would you use them both together?
Thanks!

I use kosher salt. Never tried vinegar. I salt the washer like a pot of soup. No exact amount just pour a little.

Hey my first time hearing of this. Just to clarify, pouring salt into a dark load can help retain the colors? Where/when do you pour it in? at the beginning with the detergent?

I put white vinegar in every load; I pour about a quarter cup in the bleach section, and the same in the fabric softener section.
