Yes. But there are many non Jews who adopted the name Michael, and the name Mina/Mindel was non Jewish before being adopted into Jewish names.

According to Wiki, Mickey's name is short for Mitchell. I suppose Mitchell could be a derivative of Michael, but that's already a pretty distant connection.
Whether it's Mitchell or Michael, both characters were created by Walt Disney, who AFAIK wasn't a big fan of Jews. I really doubt he saw them as Jewish.

Isn't Mina an African American name? I've read it but never heard it pronounced.
Jews were, of course, heavily involved in the creation of Hollywood as a movie industry. That may have had something to do with he Jewish sounding names of the mice. later came Feivel.

Mickey can be a cool name for a guy. I have not heard of girls called Minnie, except for my great aunt a"h (who was not mini-sized).

Mitchell or Michael, same difference -- Mitchell is a derivative of Michael.
Minna, on the other hand, is German -- short form of Wilhelmina.

Shame someone at Ellis Island changed their surname to Mouse. Mousekewitzes would have been a fine jewish name as is. (Remember the animated film American Tail?)
Ruchel, have you read Maus?

Just a side note: Mina was the name of the female character in the book Bran Stoker's Dracula. As far as I know she wasn't Jewish.
