Can raw cholent be frozen?

someone just invited us for the shabbos day meal, right after I made my cholent. Can I freeze it and use next week?
So far it's just barley, beans, potatoes, garlic, water and spices.

I think I would make it into a soup and then freeze it if you like.

Yeah, either do what mummyof6 said, or make the cholent and then freeze it.

I heard the potatoes might change texture. Everything else freezes fine in my experience. In fact, that's what I did- presoaked a bunch of beans and froze them. I hack off a chunk for my cholent.

I never tried the potatoes however beans freezes perfect. try it so you know for next time.
