Just curious how many PE lessens your children's school offer per week. DD's middle-of-the-road dayschool has 3x 40min session weekly plus lunch time and afternoon break where they do soccor or basketballs or things like that. We looked into another school that has a better limudei kodesh program but as it turned out they have 1 session weekly and no dedicated PE teacher, just a male limudei kodesh teacher doing that job. OK I'm not trying to get my kids into olympics or major league, but shouldn't schools encourage more physical activities?

My kids have 40 minutes of PE every day (unless it's raining or too cold, in which case they do indoor activities)

I never even asked my dd's school if they have PE, I was just just so thankful I was in a school! But I know they have some sort of dance/aerobics once a week and the kids get to run around during recess 15min 2x day so they are getting exercise but nothing formal.

Sundays I send her to gym 45 min class for more exercise and when the weather is nice she runs around all day outside. Her school has no gym so anyways I don't know where/if official PE can take place.

Growing up I recall doing gym/dance once a week 45 min
