My 14 y.o is facinated by forensic pathology and I think would be love to read 'scarpetta' novels.
Has any one read any of them?
Can you tell me which, if any, are clean enough for a 14 y.o..

TIA

Check this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kay_Scarpetta
I personally doubt many of the books are appropriate to a teenager.

My dh loves forensic stuff (and ended up studying it), I'll ask him what he advises.

I don't think they are appropriate for a teenager. From what I remember about there the murderers had lots of s*x fetishes that determined their murdering.
