just curious, how long each household task takes different people? obviously we all have different fridges, bathroom sizes, floors etc. but I am trying to get a handle on how much time to allot myself for various tasks.

cleaning fridge/freezer 45 minutes
cleaning stovetop, removing grates, 30 minutes
cleaning an oven, 30 minutes
vacuum a room, under beds, closets 10 minutes
vacuum steps, use small stick 20 minutes
sweep and mop kitchen floor 45 minutes
sweep and mop LR/DR 30 minutes
fold 1 load laundry, clothing (not ironing) 15 minutes

maybe people have some techniques/tips on how to do things faster/more efficiently.

Get yourself some [gentile woman] help and everything is done faster. Two people are faster than one.

this list is for my [gentile woman] help. she takes forever so I'm trying to figure out if it's her that's slow or the task really needs more time.

also

powder room 20 minutes
full bathroom 40 minutes

Everything you wrote seemed about right. Except the kitchen floor!! Maybe you have a HUGE kitchen or get on your hands on knees to mop but I don't think it should take 45 minutes. Depending on the size but I'd say 25 minutes sounds about right.

I agree. It takes me about the same time, except the floor.
