Can anyone tell me what the Diaspora Museum is like? Their website seems to use a lot of words to say very little.
What ages is it geared to?

DH and I went last year (with DD, but she was only 6 months old at the time...). My mom wanted me to do some research, as they have a family research area there.
as for the actual museum... parts of it were really interesting. you go through a history of judaism- religion, culture, daily life all around the world. I thought the most interesting part was the section with the recreations of major synagogues from all around the world.
age wise... well honestly its not for little kids. if your kids like history/culture then 8+ is good.... if they dont then at least 12+. its geared towards older ages... there isnt much hands on stuff or flashy things. if you have more specific questions I can try to answer them.
