There is a woman who is a guiyores who I have as a regular shabbos guest. I'm probably the closest person she has to an advocate within the community here (I live way out of town.) B"H she just became engaged to a BT. His family might be willing/able to help with the wedding a bit, but since he's BT we can't count on that, and she really doesn't have very much money at all. I'm wondering if there are any organizations who help out kallahs in this situation. I'm also looking for info on a g'mach that might be willing to ship a tznieus wedding dress out here. My family and I don't have much either, but we'll for sure arrange for her to have a shabbos kallah and sheva brachos. I'm going to have to start calling people about that....... I'm sure we'll make her one ourselves. Anyway, I found an organization called Ten Yad that sounds like it might be able to help. Can anyone give me info about this or any other organizations to refer this woman to? Thanks!
