Hey everyone,
I'm trying to figure out the validity of the website, KosherStarbucks.com.
I know that all their syrups are kosher as long as they are from the tall clear bottles, but the website says that the "mocha" syrup IS kosher. I find this decieving because in all the starbucks I've gone to the mocha syrup is always made in the store, and does not have a hechsher.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

I would recommend consulting the Chicago Rabbinical Council website. Several articles are posted on the topic (CRC on Starbucks, et. al.). The issues are very complex, and Rabbi Sholem Fishbane spends an inordinate amount of time researching various issues related to coffee houses in general and Starbucks in particular.
To my knowledge, the contributors to kosherstarbucks.com may have semicha in Issur v'Heter, but they are not experienced mashgichim, familiar with the more complex issues created in commercial/industrial food preparation.
However, like anything else regarding kashrus, ask your rav!
