Has anyone ever heard of trying to cure an ear infection by dripping breast milk into the infected ear? Do you know if this is safe?

I've heard about it for eye infections and that seems more safe, but in the ear? where it can pool? doesn't that seem like the perfect breeding ground for bacteria?
if it works though I would MUCH rather do it then give yet another round of antibiotics.

You think that's disturbing -- once I was waiting for a well-baby checkup and the nurse comes out and hands me a cup, asks me to express some milk because the baby in the nurse's office had an eye infection and needed some!
I'm interested to know if it works for ear infections, I'm tired of antibiotics too...
