There seem to be many very organized women on this website with all their lists for cleaning and shopping and menu, etc. I was hoping maybe someone has a good packing list for going away for Pesach. We are going for 2 weeks. I know I need to bring alot but I can't seem to organize any kind of coherent list of things to pack. So, any superorganized imamother going away for pesach, care to share their list?
TIA

Also a carry-on packing list?
(sorry that I can't help)

Oh, yes, thanks for reminding me. We all need carry-ons as well. and we are with 2 kids. Such a joy.
tizunabi, where are you going for pesach? We are going to Florida with my mil.
One tip: (we made this mistake when we did this 2 years ago)- don't bring chometz snacks with you in the carry ons or suitcases. I remember we brought along pretzels for the kids, it made a huge mess and got into everything and was really hard to clean thoroughly before pesach.

Thanks Ra-mom. That's a great starting point.
Oh, and I saw on another thread- swimming diapers for babys/toddlers.

That's a perfect start ... I'm off to colder areas of the east coast, so no swimming diapers for DS..
Now a carry-on list and I'm more or less set..

ra-mom, I'm wondering about the drinks- do they let you bring them on the plane? Do you know how that works?
Also for carry on, if your kids are older: dollar store toys/books/coloring/stickers s/t to entertain the kids. Also, even though you may not end up needing it, I always pack an extra book or s/t to entertain myself for the flight. Even though you may be tending to the kids the whole while, I find that if I am able to snatch a few minutes here or there for relaxation it makes the whole flight a lot easier.
Ok: I've copy/pasted the original list to a word document. Here are my additions so far:
Sheitel and snoods, for men: extra yarmulkas, haggadas/seforim/siddur. And for children, undershirts.
More specifically- shabbos clothes for boys: shirts, pants, ties, suit jacket/vests, sweater vests.
We are leaving Tuesday night (early, I know) so I will probably go over the list motz'sh and add more specifics- such as x amt of skirts, that shabbos dress for dd, etc.

If you want drinks for the flight, you can purchase after checking in, before boarding to the gate.
I usually bring 2 more pairs of underwear than the number of days we will be away.
An extra set of clothes, or at least an extra shirt, than the number of days we will be away.

What are frozen sandwiches?
And what snacks that aren't messy would you recommend for the flight? Pesach-dik friendly snacks?

Pesach snack ideas: fruit, nuts, chocolate, gebrokts Bissli...
