Dh hates pulling sweaters over his head. Only time I can convince him to wear a sweater in the first place is when it's a zip up. The one he has now got a hole in it Sad

I love things like this!

OP do you mean zip up as in half-zip or a full zip-up? Does dressy mean anything in specific other than a beautiful material? Collared? Buttons rather than zips? Here are a few places to start:

http://www.amazon.com/Rothco-B.....=8-32

http://www.landsend.com/pp/Lon.....index

It's a 4X and doesn't zip...but a start

Can your husband wear a 2X in a tall size? That is sometimes a good compromise on hard to find sweaters.

This is one such:

and another in 2X tall

Thank you so much for helping.
I really need a full zip up. And it needs to be size 3x.
Something like this. (It only starts in 4x and even in that size (too big) is only available in light gray.)

Amother you have set me a good challenge! This is a 3X, black, dressy (merino) but it buttons up rather than zips up:

This one zips a full HALF way down instead of the ususal 1/4 so there is no way he could make a hole

And FINALLY

Black. Full Zip. Under $100...I was really getting nervous that my only solution was going to be the $450 Gucci

My son has purchased a number of items from Paul Frederick, and we've been very pleased. They also have lots of online sales and coupons, so you can usually get a good deal.
