I'm sick of all the fees at my bank.

Here's what I need:

1) a checking account where I don't have to wait forever for checks to clear
2) no additional fees on non-bank ATM's (since I'm all over)
3) no high monthly fees
4) good overdraft coverage for when I need it

I keep a very low balance (I know I know) and need s/thing in my neighborhood.

Currently I'm with TD but I'm really getting fed up with a lot of sneaky stuff they pulled off lately.

And another thumbs up for chase!
I have had an account in TD- no one to talk to, have used apple bank- major rip off... but at chase I am made to feel as if I have a personal banker.

Another vote for Chase or Bank of America ..

There is pretty much no way around 2, Wawa has free atms. The others are all ok by Chase

Hi! I figured one more vote for Chase would close the deal for you. I do my banking with them and am really happy. Their website is also really user-friendly, so I know exactly what's going on at all times. I also signed up for their phone and text alerts, and am always in the know about what's going on in my account. Hatzlocho!

Chase is not for those without big balances. I have an account at North Fork (they've since changed their name to Capital one, iirc). Check out smaller neighborhood banks too.

I was not impressed by what chase had to offer, even with a big balance. Are you eligible for USAA or Navy Federal? You can use any ATM and they reimburse you any fees at the end of the month-- I send those reimbursements straight to savings and its an automatic savings plan.
