we usually/would prefer to name after someone but this is the 3rd girl and we're out of "usable" names (ones from DH's side are all names of living immediate family members on my side)
I'm due on Succos and thought that would be an easy fix...but there are NO names that I can think of for a girl! (we know it's a girl)
anyone have any ideas?
TIA!

yeah, there are probably not a lot of names flying around. But you never know- in shir hashirim, bnei yisrael are referred to "shulamis" so that is a girl's name. Maybe in koheles there is a reference somewhere using a girl's name? maybe...I'm just not so sure. guess you got to go over it with a fine tooth comb.

Yiska
Ilana
Hadar or Hadara
The uspizin are men, how about their wives, daughters?
Dovid hamelech's grandmother was Ruth his wives BatSheva, michal, Chagit (also chag).
You can see this early that it is a girl?
B'shaa Tova!

Or how about Elisheva for Ahron Hakoen's wife or Tziporah for Moshe's wife.

How about 'Hadas' instead? Much more common these days (least where I live).
Where are you located? What group do you usually associate with? Looking for Hebrew names or other? What style - modern or classic or shtetl?
