Hi. For people who use Gladrags and cloth diapers for their kids - how do you handle this after Shabbos? I've just started using these, and I'm curious to know if there is a trick to get out the stains since I can't rinse them out immediatlely. Is soaking in washing soda and water (after Shabbos of course) sufficient?

What's a gladrag? I throw solid waste into the toilet & flush, store in a dry bucket until washing day. I don't pre-treat anything, ever. Why would motzaei Shabbat be any different?

Hi. Op here. Glad rags is a brand name of cloth menstral pads. The pages say to rinse out immediately, which can't be done on Shabbos. I don't know if soaking them for a period of time is sufficient... or if there is a trick with the types of cleaners (I only use natual cleaning products. To treat stains it's either vinegar, baking soda or washing soda.) With cloth diapers, and kids underwear, I've found that I have to pre-treat, the wash cycle alone isn't sufficient. Normally I attend to it immediately, but I'm finding that leaving it more than a day before soaking makes it difficult.

I never soak or rinse my pads or diapers. Mostly they come out stain free and they always smell good and clean out of the drier or off the line.

When diapers are dumpable, we dump of course, but if it isn't it comes out in the wash.

GladRags can wait, and then soak for an hour or longer. I soak in regular, unnatural detergent, stain remover and cold water, so maybe that makes a difference, I don't know. Soaking first makes them wash very well, even after some time has passed.
