Socks. moleskin pads on the shoe in the spot/s where it rubs. moleskin pads on the foot where it's rubbed.

chen I have added all kinds of things to my shoes over the year, but hzve never heard of that!

I think they sell it at most drugstores. Its one of the most important items to have when hiking. You put it on a red spot of your foot before it blisters.

oh, and they're not really made from the skin of moles . they're some sort of soft slightly fuzzy fabric.

I would just like to point out that I indeed have a scar on my ankle from wearing "jellies" in the early 80s when they were super popular.
