What's your recipe for penne a la vodka? I'm looking for a good, easy one to make.

We are only home for the first night. We are having:

French onion soup depending on how hot it is
Fish
Eggplant gratin
Spinach parmesan balls

Lemon yogurt cake

I am bringing cheddar and green chile cornbread and guac to friends the second night.

I made cheese muffins for breakfast.

Since we don't use the eruv YT has become such a treat. I'm looking forward to eating out.

It gets worse. I forgot to buy lasagna noodles so those are homemade too! They actually came out really amazing.

The gnocchi is made by baking or boiling potatoes and then using a potato ricer, which I don't have so I used a hand grater to grate the baked potatoes, mix with egg, salt & flour, roll into logs slice and boil until floats to the top. It isn't as difficult as it sounds.

Honey mustard shnitzel
Based off of this imamother thread http://imamother.com/forum/vie.....itzel
1/2 c mayo
1/4 c mustard
1/4 c honey (sugar also works)
spiced breadcrumbs (parsley, oregano, salt, pepper, basil)/cornflake crumbs
I cut my shnitzel into nuggets because then it is more moist and you get more coating per bite dip in the mayo/mustard/honey mixture and then breadcrumbs and bake.

Pastina
These are tiny pasta in between petitim and couscous. You make them the same way you would couscous, fry onion and other veggies if desired like pepper, zucchini, carrot add pastina to until toasted, add parsley, salt and pepper and boiling water and simmer until cooked

Chocolate Raspberry Mousse
I promise that you can't taste the tofu!
1 package silken tofu
splash of maple syrup
12 - 16 oz. chocolate chips
vanilla/liqueur
box of raspberries

blend tofu, maple syrup and vanilla.
Melt chocolate chips and add to tofu, blend all together.
Add a package of raspberries and blend again. (I check my raspberries according to the star k method and rely on the additional kula of eating blended buggies). Refrigerate.
