What kind of containers do you use in your playroom for toys? I'm looking for larger, as well as smaller toys and am not sure what to go with. Some need smaller bins as they don't have a lot of pieces, while other stuff need large ones.

Thanks

Ikea's Trofast containers

They come in a few sizes, love them!

I have this with 9 fabric storage bins: http://www.target.com/gp/detai.....TOG6G

I've also picked up cute wicker baskets with material liners and smaller rubbermade containers for other assorted toys.

Ive tried a bunch of different types and love this kind the best, fabric bins and small containers for smaller stuff also fit in this cube like system nicely. I feel much more organized and less spread out.

I have the Ikea version of the Target one you linked and I want containers that fit into those cubbies. I don't want soft bins, nor wicker baskets (I had wicker baskets and didn't like them).

I use the clear shoe containers from the container store. They come in all sizes and I love them.

I also have trofast. there are 3 sizes of bins, and I thnk you can get lids. (I should get some lids - do they exist?)

I labelled each bin with a picture and description.

One or two of the bins have cracked but most are holding up well.

I use this:

http://www.target.com/Honey-Ca.....38576|

It's not the cheapest solution, but I like it because it comes with bins in 2 sizes and the toys are kept neat and accessible, and it's also easy for the kids to clean up. I labeled the bins so they stay organized.
(Sometimes you can find it on sale for even cheaper.)

I also have a large Step2 toy box for the big toys.

I use various sized see thru plastic bins from walmart/target. small bins for toys that I have not so many of or smaller pieces, and large bins for big items like dolls, dress up stuff, etc. I then have in my playroom closet big bins on lower shelves, medium bins on middle shelves, and tiny small bins stacked on top of each other on higher shelves...

I find walmart has better pricing usually.

I remember that one. Smile

However keep in mind they last a lifetime. I have mine for 5 yrs and they all look great. Very sturdy and my closet looks so pretty with them.

I found the toy box to be the perfect solution for the lazy kids and cleaning lady. At cleanup time, anything and everything got dumped into the toybox and in no time the house was clean!! LOL

Needless to say, I got rid of it real fast.

My kids know that that's a big no-no. The cleaning lady is another story...

They come in 4 sizes and yes, you can get lids. (I have them too.)
