I love listening to music on the laptop.(from shmaisradio or yidlive..) we dont have an Ipod and only limited CD's and I cant listen to the same things over and over
dh hates when I do it. he says it's not good for the laptop if the batteries run low so fast. and the more we use it the quicker it will go.
so I only do it sometimes when he's not home. but I feel bad!!
is he right?

Some batteries do have a relatively short life, but I really would not expect a decent newish laptop to have that short of a lifetime. On the other hand, why don't you just plug the laptop into power, as that doesn't drain the battery (you can even take the battery out when you do that, although I wouldn't bother.)
