no good - shipping is very expensive.

The clear plastic hangers, with the metal rods and skirt clips?
They are expensive, but I bought them in bulk from here.

(In the hardware store they are more than $2 per pc. At the dollar store you can sometimes find the cheaper plastic material one for $1 per pc. They also have the $2 version.)

Ikea has wooden skirt hangers. I think they were 2 for 9 shekel.

I was starting out new, not taking any of the old hangers from my mom's house when I got married. Wanted all the same hangers.  Share them with dh. Bought at least 1 box of each IIRC.

I really didn't know that it has become such a big deal.  it didn't seem that way when I was growing up.
