I'm looking for ideas of what I can learn with a friend (on Skype).
We were hoping for something on emuna or chassidus but open to any suggestions.
We have about 30 minutes at time.
Preferably in English.

Depends on how advanced you both are and how involved you want to get.
If you are looking for something that is quite advanced I would suggest the Mystery of Marriage, by Rav Yitzchak Ginsburgh. He has other books that are simpler to learn too.

Garden of Emuna? You don't have to learn all of it if not all is to your hashkafa, but a lot of it suits everyone.
It is also chassidus at the same time.

Yes,but my friend needs something on a more practical level at this stage. We may progress to lessons in Tania at some point .
