This is just out of curiousity: how many sheitles do you own (including fall, hat fall, etc). Do you have certain ones you wear at certain times (hat fall for work, shetl for shabbos, etc)?

2 at any given time. I have B"H been married for six years and have owned a total of 5 sheitels. My first three were all bought around the same time. I used to ride the subway everyday and wore the heck out of them. I had them for five years. After five years I gave them away to someone who could use them and bought two new ones. All my sheitels were inexpensive, I mean under 1200. THe last two were much much less. I see as I am married longer my sheitels can't be as expensive because I have too many other expences. You really need two though, because if one gets rained on or is being washed then you are stuck without a sheitel. I tend to wear my long one for shabbos and my shorter one for weekday.

Two: One headband fall (generally for weekday) and one full sheitel (only for shabbas and other dressy occasions).

One full sheitel, and I wash it on my own, so I never have to worry about being stuck without a sheitel.

One. But this one needs to be re-dyed, so I need to get another one before I send it in so I'm not stuck w/o a sheitel.

3- hat fall (weekday), full sheital (usually shabbos, sometimes weekday too), full sheital (was my first sheital and is AWFUL so I almost never wear it- if I do it's with a hat over it).

2 shaitels. One for shabbos, one for weekday. They are exactly the same, just cut differently.

GR, sometimes sales work against you; I have gotten "lemons" that way.
