I think mostly people shop in Five Towns, on Central Avenue, at least my family from Far Rockaway do.

Tons of shopping all around. What kind of shopping are you looking for? What do you mean by "specifically the pool?"

Are you refering to Darchei's pool? If yes, there is a grocery store, pharmacy and pizzaop nearby. But for better shopping and more food options go to Central Avenue in Cerdarhurst. Greenacres Mall is just a 20 minute drive from there.
