Anyone planning on doing either the OU or star K hashgacha courses for women?

I thought "they" don't let women be a mashgiach, at least according to an article I once read.

I was a Mashgicha for the Star K ten years ago and I certainly wasn't the first or the last so I think the article you read was wrong.

Both the OU and Star K have been doing these course for at least two years and they do hire women. I live in Canada, and am doing it because I am a caterer and it would also be nice to do hashgacha when I myself am not working (no one can be their 'own' mashgiach.)
The course includes people who work in the field as well as Rebbetzins and actual mashgichot. I am just wondering if anyone else is going to take the OU course from the 29th of August to the 3rd of Sept. If you don't want to answer publically, pm me.
