Cooked salmon: how long is safe to leave out?

Is fully cooked salmon safe to eat if it was left out on the counter for 4 hours?

I did a web search and couldn't find an answer. I have the impression that fish is safer than meat, but not sure if that's based on reality.

I wouldn't eat fish that has been out for more than 2 hours.
4 hours -- I personally would not take a chance on. Food poisoning is pretty awful, not worth the risk.
