How do you keep your kids entertained while you are fasting?
Because I have an extremely hard time fasting, I get into bed immediately after I light candles and stay there until the fast is over. This will be very tricky with 6 little kids, including a newborn. DH comes back to serve the kids lunch and I pack them goody bags before Yom Kippur that have plenty of nosh for the day.

Also, the shul has babysitting available. Do you think it would be OK to send my three or four oldest with DH and put them in babysitting even though I 'd be at home? He would obviously would be responsible for them if they needed anything and check on them!
