I love these. They take up very little space and have room for 10 pairs of shoes. I have them hanging un my closets.

In a big mess! (sorry, not helpful).

We have an elephant by the front door (I think it's supposed to be a trash can, someone gave it to us), I keep one pair of shoes per kid there (they usually take them off as they come it). The other pairs are in their shoe drawer. I have seen pieces of furniture here where the drawers open on a hinge and you store shoes in them, but I don't personally have one.

One pair each lined up against the stairs in the main floor hallway. The rest (each child has one pair weekday and one pair shabbos) lined up in their closets (at least theoretically Very Happy).

I have hanging things with little pockets hanging inside the closet doors. They all put stickers with their names on it. its neat and organized and fun too. I just change them every 6 months or so for a new one. Very economical and neat.

I have a metal shoe rack that hangs over the back of my door- it can fit about 20 shoes- so there's plenty of room for slippers and e/t else as well..

I have a bench that opens and has space inside it, and this bench is right by the exit door. So far all the shoes in use for my three kids fit in it (slippers, one pair of sneakers, one pair of shabbat, one pair of casual).

I have a metal storage shelf (the kind with 4 big shelves that you put together by sliding the four poles thru them) by the door. Backpacks on top, umbrellas and purses hanging off it, and all the shoes in there.

Now if only the kids would always put the shoes in there. But not the socks!
