Saw this on another thread, and was thinking of making it for Shavuos. Can I make it ahead and freeze it? I've never frozen anything with cottage cheese before. Do you think it would mess up the taste/consistency?
corn casarole:
1 tub (250 grams) cottage cheese
1 cup milk
3 eggs
3 Tbs. flour
3 Tbs. oil
1.5 - 2 cans of corn
mix it all together and bake untill firm.
the original recipe calls for adding cheese untop (before baking ofcourse) but its deleciouse and less fatning without

between the cottage cheese and the corn it sounds like it's too liquidy to freeze.

Most things freeze...lasagne, quiche and cheescake freeze so I don't see why this shouldn't
It might not taste as great but try it and see what happens.

Ra_mom -- but I freeze corn kugel and it comes out good...so would that make this okay to freeze? The cottage cheese is what I'm nervous about.
CC -- I'm not making a ton of extra food for Shavuos, so I can't really afford for one dish to turn out gross, if at all avoidable.
