My kids don't like to eat supper (or dinner, if that's what you call it) as soon as they come home from school but are usually ravenous. I've tried serving soup but it hasn't gone down too well and fruit doesn't keep them full for too long. I'd love a collection of different snack ideas that are healthy and won't keep them asking for more and more until supper-time.
Thanks in advance!

Healthy-ish homemade trail mix with whole grain pretzels, nuts, raisins, even a few chocalate chips thrown in as the treat.
Or plain yogurt with honey and frozen fruit.
Dinner for us is usually 1 1/2 hrs after they get home so the snack doesn't need to last too long in their bellies.
