I think you should tell the person - because they might reveal more then they would if they knew someone knew who they are.

Absolutely. Most people are probably working under the assumption that they are anonymous. If that anonymity is compromised, it is only ethical to let them know that, just as you are morally obligated to tell someone you read a letter that was meant for her but that was sent to you in error. Otherwise you are a peeping Tom, no more, no less.

I'm still waiting to hear a solution. I know it is just as easy for the posters who ive figured out to figure out who I am if I tell them I know them. and I'm not willing to compromise on my anonymity.
Of course you all think I'm being rude and disgusting, because if it is you, you want to know. I understand that, but its still not an option for me.

What I don't like is that someone I know CONSTANTLY asks "did you start a thread on this or that topic" or "was that your post" if she sees something that has details of my life similar to whoever is posting as amother. It is VERY annoying!
