What books would you suggest for a new and inexperienced (but a total natural) teacher?
Any books that will really help with things like discipline, lesson planning etc?
TIA!

What grade level are you heading for?

Read my review of The Cornerstone here: http://waystheylearn.wordpress.....tone/
I meant every word! It's like a teacher bible!

Another great one, especially for classroom management, is Fred Jones Tools for Teaching
It's really great and a very easy, light read. But leans a little more towards middle/older grades so if you're teaching, say, second, I'd keep it on the "must read" list but bump it lower down.

There are other books I like but those are my top two all-around favorites. You say you're a natural, so is there any particular area that you feel could use particular strengthening?
