My DD is working on a PowerPoint presentation. She wants the music to start a few minutes into the sound clip, so we followed a tutorial to trim the audio. We seemed to get it right - when we click on the audio icon, it starts playing from the right place. But when we play the whole slideshow, the music starts from the beginning of the clip! Any idea why it's doing that, and what we can do about it?

I'm not sure if this is helpful, but there is a free audio editing program called Audacity that is fairly easy to use. You can search for it and download it and just trim the audio file and save the edited one as a new file.
Sorry, I don't know enough about Powerpoint to be more helpful!
