when you reach grade twelve you think your done
no more school it's time for fun
but you came back and worked with joy
taught us education is not a toy

you shaped the school like a potter shapes his clay
you do so much for us every single day
and now that it's the end there is one thing left to say
it would have to be three cheers "hip hip hoooray"

I hope these glasses will be for
at many a simcha that comes to your door
so let's give hugs around and around
and celebrate one of the best bosses in the town

I always knew that each day would be great
because no matter how much was on my plate
you would be there working with me
you helped me out like family

it was the little things I always adored
like getting me stamps of your own accord
or stopping to deposit a check in the bank
answering my questions the little things that I most thank

I am sad that together we will be no more
no one could hold a candle to your score
even though we won't see each other every day
let's keep in touch, because there's still a lot to say

I would also right the days I had my son how she showed how much she cares about his safety looking after him............ and never minded the days he used to unpack things and make a mess......

Trust me, your boss would much prefer a heartfelt note from you with exactly what you want to say to her.

I tried to combine my stuff:

Dear [name],

We've worked together for [number] of years
through the smiles and the tears
you helped me out when I was down
always made a smile of my frown

I always knew that each day would be great
because no matter how much was on my plate
you would be there working with me
you helped me out like family

you let me bring in my darling son
even when he kept us on the run
you cared about him like a grandmother
and to me you’re like a mother

it was the little things I always adored
like getting me stamps of your own accord
or stopping to deposit a check in the bank
answering my questions the little things that I most thank

you shaped the school like a potter shapes his clay
you do so much for us every single day
and now that it's the end there is one thing left to say
it would have to be three cheers "hip hip hoooray"

I am sad that together we will be no more
no one could hold a candle to your score
even though we won't see each other every day
let's keep in touch, because there's still a lot to say

I can't believe it's coming to an end
but you will always remain a loyal true friend
here are some glasses that I hope will prove
to be used in many a simcha as the years move

I will always remember our years together
these are the times that I will treasure
so let's give hugs around and around
and celebrate one of the best bosses in the town

--- happy laughter
