Gemach, shopping etc.

Could you please help me my dear Israeli friends?

I am looking for a gemach in yerushalayim where I can borrow things for my sis wedding, like kala umbrella etc.

Also I don't even have a dress yet Sad

I could not find anything here, do you suggest I borrow the dress from a gemach as well or buy a new one. And where can I buy/borrow it.

And one last q for now. I would like to get casual clothing, shabbos robe , nice shabbos dresses maybe as I can not get anything here and my cuboards are almost empty hehe. The only thing is I found the malls to be quite expensive and geula and meah shearim was not quite my style.

Sorry , I am just really stressing esp. about the sis of the bride dress. Would really apreciate your help .

Firstly - welcome new Olah !
Hope your klita is OK and you dont have too many hassles.

Where are you living ? and maybe give us an idea of styles and izes that you need.

The stores at Malcha are pretty pricey. Depends though on whatyou are looking for.

I dont know anywhere except the Geula area for robes. Clothes - there are some nice stores in town (Yafo King George, Ben Yehuda area.

And I hope someone will help you with a simcha gemach. I know there is someone in Bet Shemesh who sellls the stuff.

if you're in yerushalayim the reichman's gemach in shaarei chessed has nice dresses to rent.
I don't know their number offhand but if you want it let me know and I'll post it later

Reichman's is a gemach, not a rental, you only pay for the dry cleaning.

if you're not in Israel yet, why don't you get one from wherever you're coming from?
won't it be easier not having to stress about finding a dress once you get here?
unless you'll be here for longer than they'll allow you to rent/borrow the dress for
