HI,
I will be teaching kindergarten lemudei kodesh in a kiruv school for the first time this year. Since I was notified so close to the start of the school year, I have to quickly make a basic curriculum (I wasn;t provided with one). Where can I find ideas of what to teach?
This is what I plan on teaching, please help me with more

Davening- I know a lot of the songs, but I want a list in case I am missing any (We open one eye, its another wonderful morning, ma tovu, adon olam, shema...)

Kriya- I will be following a book

yamim tovim- this is a kiruv school so I have to start with the basics. I will need arts & crafts and songs

mitzvos- I want to do a mitzva of the week

parsha-

brachos- not sure how much I should concentrate on it because they prob wont practice at home

free play- how long?

I also want to teach hebrew words like days of the week and do shabbos parties (with detail to teach about shabbos)

What else should I teach? Any good teaching sites and ideas?

I saw a Torah Umesorah Preschool Curriculum in my local Jewish library. (Large book).
Maybe you can get a hold of it.

Do emphasize brachot! It seems to be a part of the kiruv school mission. When I was little I went to a Jewish pre-school, and wondered why we made kiddush in school but not at home - next thing ya know we had Shabbat dinner at my house every week! The kids at that age will have no problem learning brachot for foods and holidays. The more esoteric brachot for thunder, for example, are good opportunities for kids to learn about Judaism and nature...you get the idea.
