What I pack for kids lunch aside from usual sandwiches and pasta salads...

* sushi rolls (cucumber, shredded carrots, either seafood sticks or smoked salmon. either cut into pieces or mini-size whole rolls. small packet of soy sauce separately)

* soup in thermos (I pack pasta separately)

* pitta pizza roll (slice pita in halves, spread tomato/pizza sauce, cheese and toppings--mushroom, sweet corn, olives, then heat on toasteroven, roll up and wrap in foil)
