I plan on making a chanuka party and only inviting children ages 5-13,14. I already know what food I'll be making and what games we'll be playing, but I wanted to also do a craft and thought of making a dreidel. I checked online and didn't care for the ones I saw. Any ideas? TIA

not sure if you saw this online, but I did this with my class one year
a 3d dreidel out of toothpicks and sour balls
I'll try to explain as best as I can
1. make 2 squares out of 4 balls attached with 4 toothpicks
2. use toothpicks to attach the 2 squares forming a cube
3. make 4 toothpicks coming out of the bottom on a diagonal meeting at a point with one ball attached to all of them
4. cut toothpicks in half and do the same out of the 4 top balls but it won' be pointy cuz the toothpicks aren't taht long
5. stick one more half of toothpick out of the middle ball and attach a ball at the top, this is the part that you hold the dreidel from
hope this can be understood, it's a little hard to explain

Thanks sbs! I can figure out what you're saying, but they don't sell sour balls here or anything that can be used instead.

I'm sorry, let me clarify, I don't want a food one. Thanks though.
